Tailgate Meatballs with Bacon Ketchup from Schafer’s Farms
Ingredients:
1 lbs. ground beef
1 lbs. ground pork
¼ cup bacon ketchup
Italian breadcrumbs
2 eggs
4c cloves of minced garlic
1.5 tbls salt
1/2 tbls pepper
Sauce
- 1 cup Bacon ketchup (Schaffer’s Farm)
- 1 tbs Honey
- 1tbs Brown sugar
- ¼ cupApple cider vinegar
- 1tsp Garlic powder
- 1tsp Onion powder
- 1 tbs paprika
- ½ chili powder
- 1 tbs Worcestershire
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: In a bowl, combine all ingredients for meatballs. Blend until fully mixed
Step 2: portion into 1 oz balls. Should yield around 32 meatballs. Put meatballs on a greased baking sheet
Step 3: Bake meatballs on 350 - 400 oven until done
Step 4: Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a pan, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 mins.
Step 5: Once meatballs are cooked, add to sauce.
